The nanotechnology offered various applications in the field of health and industrial sectors. Its role in agricultural development such as crop improvement, crop protection, soil health improvisation is the new milestones reached by the nanomaterials. Such powerful nanomaterials are synthesized using various plants sources for the ecofriendly environment. This chapter brings the limelight on the plants that are used for the synthesis of nanoparticles, and the reducing agents used for it. The impactful usage of nanomaterials for the soil improvement and antioxidant enzyme inductions, attempted by the researchers, are highlighted in the present review.
