BookToPlug: A Personalized EV Charging Slot Reservation System Using Machine Learning for Time Prediction
摘要
The focus of this study is on the development of an intuitive application that enables users to book EV charging slots specific to their vehicle's requirements and preferences. Current systems are not personalized, and hence the usage is inefficient and the waiting time is longer. The proposed system will use rule-based systems to compute optimal charging parameters, machine learning models to predict the charging duration, and a real-time framework to monitor charger availability. The system will ensure that the charging experience is streamlined and customized by allowing real-time booking and ranking of stations based on user preferences. This approach supports the increasing demand for EV infrastructure and promotes the widespread adoption of electric vehicles.
