The Internet of Things is developing quickly, altering daily life, and offering creative answers to the most important problems. One of the most fundamental needs for homes, companies, and agriculture is electricity. Customers and providers suffer financial hardships as a result of frequent power disruptions. This study presents the Smart Energy Meter (SEM), an electronic gadget that transmits data and calculates power consumption using cellular algorithms and an energy meter chip. Through integration with web and Android apps, the SEM provides utility companies and customers with real-time energy usage data for automatic invoicing and fault fixing. By utilizing a global network to facilitate smooth data transfer between users and service providers, the system increases efficiency, lowers power waste, and aids in the prevention of crime.
