摘要
Significant environmental and climate changes on a global scale are driving the interest of scientists, environmental activists, and investors in green investment. Green investment is spreading globally and is gradually gaining support in developing regions. In today’s business environment, when the number of natural resources is decreasing, technological development is accelerating, the environmental situation is deteriorating, the need to stimulate investment in projects aimed at using resource-saving technologies, controlling the production of environmentally friendly products, ensuring waste-free production, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and implementing measures to overcome the consequences of negative impacts on the global ecosystem is becoming more relevant. However, which region or country will receive investment support depends on its attractiveness in the context of innovation and environmental development. That is why it is important to identify the factors that shape the investment attractiveness of the region (country). Given these facts, the article aims to develop a scientific and methodological approach to modeling the assessment of the impact of factors on the formation of investment and innovation environmental attractiveness of the region (country) and to develop recommendations for improving the investment and innovation environmental attractiveness of the region, corresponding to the level of a factor influence on its formation. The model construction is based on the analysis and calculation of statistical data using the integral indicator method. The research analyses the components and calculates the integral indicator for the assessment of the impact of factors on the investment and innovation environmental attractiveness of the region. It also tests the relevant methodology on the example of Ukraine. The results show that Ukraine has existing potential and is an attractive region where it is advisable to invest in the development of innovative environmental projects. This article is an important contribution to understanding and raising public awareness of the importance of a balanced approach to development that considers both investment opportunities and environmental protection. The research results may be useful for government officials, investors, environmental activists, and business communities.
