Innovative Approaches to Cleaning the Soil from Oil Products
摘要
Over the past decades, the problem of soil pollution with oil products has acquired a threatening scale. Once in the soil, toxic substances migrate, contaminating other components of the environment and accumulating in living organisms. Reclamation of oil-contaminated lands is an urgent task today. This work provides a general overview of the methods used to restore soil contaminated with petroleum products. The results of an experimental study regarding the use of miscanthus and swichagarus for phytoremediation are presented. The effect of the type and amount of applied fertilizers on the effectiveness of soil purification by the above-mentioned crops was considered.
