Outcome and Therapeutic Relationship Feedback in Group Therapy
摘要
Group treatment and feedback measurement have distinct features that require consideration. Empirical evidence regarding the impact of feedback in group therapy has made significant progress in recent years but is still developing. Two key constructs of feedback in group are relationships and symptom improvement, and both can be used to aid treatment. The OQ-Analyst provides a structure that allows group leaders to administer feedback instruments to gauge both the therapeutic relationships (Group Questionnaire-30) and symptom improvement (Outcome Questionnaire-45) of group members. The system is outlined using a clinical vignette that focuses on how to use group therapeutic relationships feedback to track and improve treatment. Empirical and clinical strengths and limitations of feedback in group treatment are considered, and clinicians are invited to use feedback to serve their clients.
