Conclusions Why Should We Care About Ayóm-Ayóm?
摘要
This book is built on the IR’s recent interest in community resilience as an epistemic move from previously labelling states as fragile. It took a conceptual departure from a point where depletion is less explored in the scholarship’s inquiry into community resilience. I defined depletion in the context of resource scarcity brought by protracted conflicts, low support systems, and when the lines towards social mobility are broken. As discussed in Chapter 3 , I argue that epistemologically highlighting the community’s resilience did not eliminate the fact that these communities are resource-scarce, if not indeed fragile.
