This chapter describes briefly the landscape of prostate cancer (PCa) treatments beyond radionuclide therapies and external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) which have been discussed elsewhere. It illustrates the development of prostate cancer from the local hormone dependent on metastatic castration-resistant disease together with treatment options. For focal therapies beyond EBRT high frequency focused ultrasound, cryotherapy and irreversible electroporation are discussed. For systemic treatment, different forms of endocrine therapies are presented. A special attention will be paid to immunotherapy, because there is a recent extensive coauthored review about the topic. New ideas will be presented, and on the other hand, clinical data will be compared with historical data. Additionally, the summary of approved agents will be presented.
