The improper handling of electronic garbage, or “e-waste,” contributes to contamination of the air, water, and land, as well as negative health effects, making it a major global environmental concern. We have attempted to investigate the implications of e-waste on environmental degradation and human health while emphasizing sustainable management through circular economy strategies. Current trends in e-waste generation, coupled with global policies and innovative technologies, are discussed to provide insights into effective solutions. This chapter also presents case studies and examines how international collaborations can facilitate the transition from a linear to a circular economy. By integrating environmental sustainability with economic resilience, the proposed solutions aim to address e-waste challenges comprehensively.
