Cloud computing (CC) is at the forefront of digital transformation, revolutionizing operational efficiency and redefining the future of the IT industry. To harness the full potential of cloud computing services (CCS), a thorough understanding of the factors that drive adoption is crucial. This study introduces a research framework that investigates the impact of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, social influence, trust, privacy/security concerns, service quality, technology anxiety, and perceived image on the adoption intentions of CCS within a developing country context. The research targeted a sample of 269 IT undergraduate students, leveraging their technical expertise and familiarity with emerging technologies to provide meaningful insights. Utilizing WarpPLS for partial least square analysis, the study validated all hypothesized relationships except for the link between perceived image and behavioral intention. The model explained 63.7% of the total variation in adoption intentions, underscoring the significance of the examined factors in shaping user behavior toward CCS. The findings of this analysis offer a new perspective on the complex interplay between technological, social, and psychological influences on cloud adoption. These insights offer a strategic blueprint for policymakers, technology developers, and educators to foster greater acceptance and use of cloud platforms, thereby accelerating digital advancement in developing regions.
