The impact of the pandemic in the country was widespread, affecting all areas of the economy, in addition, of course, to the numerous direct consequences on health. This work describes what happened in the socioeconomic field particularly affected by the crisis. The growing levels of poverty, lower levels of well-being, growing public spending, informality, and unemploymentUnemployment show how extensive and deep our economic and social deterioration has been as a result of the pandemic.
