Supply chains ensure the sustainable development of today's society. Their successful management depends on their daily life of the people who are in the role of the end customers of the whole chain. This is especially true for the supply of absorbent hygiene products (AHP) for adults. This issue is out of the public focus, but it is especially significant nowadays when life expectancy and the share of the adult population are increasing. This supply chain is characterized by low seasonality and requires constant supplies due to the nature of the products. The reasons for its disruption are of a different nature and are at the root of the risks. Successful risk management in this chain will contribute to a more sustainable development of society.
