Exploring Human-Centric Leadership in Tourism
摘要
The need to “revise” the approach and attitude toward the human aspect has emerged in recent years due to advancements in methods and technology. The paradox here is that as computer and cognitive technologies permeate every aspect of social and commercial life, the focus on the individual and the output of their labor becomes increasingly tangible. As a result, the leadership approach to establishing and nurturing “human and social” connections in commercial organizations has gained momentum in recent years. This implies that, beyond the fundamental principles of leadership, leadership and leaders are considered in all efforts that promote interpersonal connections and entail social interaction. Given that “person-to-person” interactions hold greater longevity in the tourism industry, these human capital management trends are particularly relevant in this sector. Whether they work for travel agencies or are tourists themselves, people are at the center of the travel industry. This makes it necessary to describe the challenges involved in enhancing the use of leadership methods in the travel and tourism sector, especially in the context of Bulgaria. As a result, the primary objective of the report is to emphasize the practical aspects of applying the leadership approach in Bulgaria, while also uncovering its contemporary features.
