Junior and Senior High School Students’ Challenge to Solve the Problem of Marine Garbage in the Seto Inland Sea—Through the Practice of Citizen Collaboration Through “Civic Tech”-
摘要
This paper is an approach by senior junior high school students to solving the marine garbage problem in the Seto Inland Sea. In order to get every citizen involved in solving the problem, we created our own application and asked citizens to use their spare time to conduct surveys of trash in the city, the origin of marine garbage. It is a practice that encourages citizens, who are waste disposers, to be the solvers by considering and mapping data sent by citizens and returning it to them, leading to sustainable cleanup activities in the community.
