Large Torsional Deformations of a Cylindrical Tube Containing Screw Dislocations Under Internal Pressure

The problem of large deformations of a hollow circular cylinder containing an axisymmetric distribution of rectilinear screw dislocations of axial direction is considered. The model of isotropic incompressible elastic material of general form is used. The exact solution in quadratures that describes axial tension-compression, inflation and torsion of a cylindrical tube was found. The effect of dislocations on the loading diagram of a tube under hydrostatic pressure was studied for a number of specific defining relations of elastic materials. The effect of the torsion of a hollow cylinder with dislocations due to pressure in the absence of external torque was investigated.
