Surface Electro-Elastic Shear Waves in Piezo-Electrical Half-Space with Semi-Infinite Electrode
摘要
The generation and propagation of electroelastic surface shear waves in a composite piezoelectric half-space are studied. A semi-infinite electrode in the form of a semi-infinite thin metal layer with a constant value of electric potential is glued to the interface plane of the composite half-space consisting of a dielectric layer without a piezoelectric effect and a piezoelectric half-space. An exact solution of the problem in quadratures is constructed using the factorization method. For surface waves, finite expressions of amplitude formulas of elastic displacements and electric potentials are obtained, showing a significant effect of a semi-infinite electrode on the distribution of the wave field compared to the cases when an electrode is infinite and when electrode is absence.
