With many people living to be 90 years old or more, a serious bevy of issues confronts them and their families. Can they live alone, and if not, what other options should be explored? If they need financial assistance, who will pitch in; who will provide emotional support and guidance? If they are unable to visit children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, will they come to visit their parents and grandparents? Who will talk with their physicians, their bank, and/or attorney if necessary? What can they do to minimize their loneliness? These contemporary perplexing issues will be addressed in this chapter.
