Over extended time, the cumulative effects of forest fires driven by climate change can lead to irreversible damage to ecosystems and threaten the survival of numerous species. The current chapter highlights the impact of forest fires and climate change on the ecosystem, the interrelationship of these two phenomena, the pressing necessity for efficient measures, and effective mitigation and adaptation strategies.
