Analysis of Packaging Waste Management in Bulgaria
摘要
This study presents a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Bulgarian framework at the national level for the management of packaging and packaging waste in terms of its evaluation and effectiveness over the last ten years. Environmental protection requires cooperation between nations and public participation, just as environmental protection requires collective action and waste recycling is part of that action. Bulgaria can be considered as a country with a developing administrative and institutional approach to the management of packaging waste. This research covers much of the progress of the packaging waste management system based on data presented in Eurostat Statistics. Statistical data related to the results of waste management monitoring in the European Union member states, site visits to recycling facilities, interviews and conversations with industry specialists, and expert meetings in academia were analyzed. A literature review of published reports and scientific articles was performed.
