Exploring the Link Between Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction: A Comprehensive Review of Literature
摘要
Employees are the cornerstone of organizations. Their commitment and their job satisfaction are critical components that significantly impact an organization's success. High levels of commitment and satisfaction among employees lead to increased engagement, reduced turnover, and enhanced performance, all of which are essential for maintaining a competitive edge in the market and ensuring the sustainability and success of organizations. This study is a comprehensive literature review that addresses organizational commitment and job satisfaction among employees. A total of 80 papers were reviewed. Although these two concepts originated in the late 1980s, their relevance persists in the present day and are essential ingredients for the success of organizations. The originality of this study lies in its synthesis of key findings from existing publications, offering an updated perspective on how these factors contribute to modern organizational dynamics. Its practical implications are significant, providing managers with insights on how to enhance employee retention and performance by fostering commitment and satisfaction in today's competitive business environment.
