Postulates of the phase space quantum mechanics are reminded. A general form of the eigenvalue equation for the Hamiltonian in phase space is derived. The phase space version of the Born approximation is considered. The Green function for the Wigner function for a generic physical Hamiltonian is presented. The examples of the rectangular potential and the Poschl–Teller potential are discussed.
