Robotic Transabdominal Retrorectus Repair
摘要
Laparoscopic Transabdominal Retrorectus (TA-RR) repair with sublay mesh placement was first described by Chowbey et al. (Surg Laparosc Endosc Percutan Tech 13(2):101–105, 2003) in 2003. Although the procedure was deemed to be safe, it was technically demanding (Chowbey et al., Surg Laparosc Endosc Percutan Tech 13(2):101–105, 2003; Schroeder et al., Surg Endosc 27(2):648–654, 2013). Since the adoption of the robotic platform, the technical difficulties of laparoscopic TA_RR can be mitigated. Muysoms et al. (Hernia 22:1101–1111, 2018) described their experience by performing a lateral single-dock robotic retromuscular ventral hernia repair in 2018.
