This chapter explores the role of memory as a foundational pillar of transitional justice, focusing on its critical function in addressing past atrocities and fostering societal healing. In Latin America, memory has been instrumental in acknowledging human rights violations and preserving the experiences of victims of state violence. The chapter examines how digital technologies have transformed memory processes by enabling the documentation, preservation, and dissemination of historical evidence.
