Pathways to Creativity for Students, Teachers, and Scholars at the University of Connecticut
摘要
The University of Connecticut’s Educational Psychology Department provides several pathways for developing understanding and expertise in creativity. Course and program goals include focus on understanding creativity research and implications for practice in various fields, pursuing new research questions, and supporting applications of creativity in personal and professional contexts. At the undergraduate level, courses in creativity satisfy general education requirements and contribute to a broader university focus on creativity and innovation. At the graduate level, master’s and PhD degrees in Educational Psychology with emphasis in Giftedness, Creativity, and Talent Development build connections from creativity to K-12 classroom practice and to cutting-edge theory and research. The degree programs include opportunities for research, outreach, and connections with leaders in the field.
