Applied Creativity in Global Education: A Case Study of Webster University’s MA EDIN Program
摘要
This chapter explores Digital Pedagogical Creativity (DPC) as a core construct in educator development. It delves into existing research on creativity in education, digital pedagogy, and professional development programs. A conceptual framework for DPC is proposed, encompassing the understanding, adaptation, innovation, collaboration, and reflection skills necessary for educators to thrive in digital learning environments. The research questions explore the impact of DPC-focused programs on educators’ perceptions, pedagogical practices, and student outcomes. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, combining surveys, interviews, and portfolio reviews. This study aims to expand the definition of creativity, understand creative processes in digital contexts, operationalize DPC, identify influencing factors, and contribute both theoretically and practically to fostering creativity in education.
