The primary objective of this study is to ascertain the degree of job satisfaction and its impact on employee productivity at the University of Jordan Library. The research employed a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing a sample of 91 individuals. Data collection was facilitated through the use of a questionnaire, and subsequent statistical analysis yielded several noteworthy findings. Firstly, there was a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and employee performance effectiveness. Secondly, wages and incentives were identified as significant factors in enhancing employee performance effectiveness. Thirdly, the work environment was found to have a significant influence on employee performance effectiveness. Additionally, personal characteristics were shown to play a significant role in raising the level of employee performance effectiveness. Finally, the dimensions of job satisfaction were found to have a significant impact on employee performance effectiveness. Based on these findings, it is recommended that further research be conducted to explore the relationship between job satisfaction and other variables.
