The objective of this study is to examine the impact of digital transformation on the performance of the procurement process within the Government Procurement Department/Ministry of Finance. The participants in the study included employees from the Government Procurement Department/Ministry of Finance, individuals involved in the procurement process, as well as bidders, contractors and governmental entities and units that are officially registered with the Government Procurement Department on the electronic system known as JONEPS. A sample of 265 individuals was randomly selected from the study population. The results of the study indicated a statistically significant influence, at a significance level of α ≤ 0.05, of various dimensions of digital transformation (namely, structural changes, digital empowerment, digital leadership, and digital implementation of business strategies) on the development of the procurement process performance across all its dimensions, including service recipients, internal processes, learning and innovation, and the environmental dimension.
