Civil Protection of the Electronic Consumer in the Pre-Contractual Phase in the Era of Modern Technology: A Comparative Study
摘要
This study focuses on the civil protection afforded to electronic consumers during the pre-contractual stage in the era of modern technology. In the context of electronic contracts and commercial transactions, electronic consumption contracts are of considerable significance. These contracts have brought forth various challenges, including the need for safeguards against deceptive and misleading advertisements, as well as the consumer's entitlement to receive thorough and precise information regarding the subject matter of the contract. Consequently, it is essential to elucidate the level of protection offered by general regulations and specifically consumer protection laws, especially since the electronic consumer typically occupies the weaker position in the contractual arrangement.
