Evolution of Trademark Laws: From Conventional to Digital Frameworks
摘要
This research investigates the legal safeguards surrounding trademarks, with an emphasis on the shift from conventional to digital frameworks. It starts by defining trademarks and outlining the significant differences between conventional and digital varieties. The study then delves into the legal processes involved in registering and safeguarding both forms of trademarks. A key concern examined is whether current legal regulations adequately address the needs of both conventional and digital trademarks. Through a descriptive-analytical lens, the research establishes that a trademark serves as any symbol or sign that distinguishes a business’s products or services. The main role of a trademark is to set products apart and draw consumers in by improving their capacity to recognize favored goods and services. The results underscore the critical nature of robust trademark protection for sustaining market competitiveness and ensuring consumer awareness.
