MED IoT—A Live Patient Monitoring System

The advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) has opened up various possibilities in the healthcare sector by enabling fast interventions and real-time monitoring which connects worldwide. The conventional method of the patient monitoring system has some limitations in screening the 24-h live data and camera footage. The proposed study aims to develop a live patient monitoring system using IoT, allowing caretakers and doctors to remotely access and monitor patient’s health status by collecting data from sensors such as Heart Rate, Temperature, SpO2, and a Live camera to monitor the 24 h patients activity and this data will be transmitted wirelessly through a Wi-Fi module, to view the collected data, the custom website has been built with the simple interface to view the information and parameters of the patient the website is hosted on the local server. The implementation of IoT in the health sector provides real-time data of patients to doctors and care providers without any delay.
