The Liberation Mindset: Word vs World
摘要
A Liberation mindset is needed to provide the primary orientation for the role of leaders and the philosophical foundation that serves as reference for decision-making, people infrastructure, policies, practices, and expected behaviors for all employees, but primarily for managers and executives. The notion of liberation is behind every major transformation and behind every major achievement in history. The essence of small and large groups of people to mobilize for a cause is rooted in the idea ofliberation as the driving force giving life to that cause. An important assumption at this point is that the CEO and the CHRO/CPO are in alignment on the direction to evolve the company toward the vision of Leading Success. When you adopt a mindset of liberation you understand that people in the organization must willingly commit to the Aspiration and the Transformation, for what they mean. This is, including their ramifications and consequences, otherwise the transformation cannot scale effectively and rapidly to its fullest potential. In the absence of commitment, you would get a diminished, delayed version of what tour transformation could be. As a consequence, your Aspiration and Transformation have to be (or feel) liberating to your employees as much as they are to your customers.
