The pandemic crisis shook many companies as fears of the spread of COVID-19 caused many employees to start working from home overnight. The aim of the present paper was to find out the extent of home office issues, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data was collected from keyword searches from Web of Science and the stored selected publications were further examined using bibliometric analysis by VOSviewer software to create a network visualization. The results of the research show a growing demand for professional/academic publications on the topic of home office, and it also became apparent that this is creating demands especially on employers. These findings provide some benefit to HR departments who can make decisions about the length of time homeworking is provided based on the findings, while the results also provide a basis for considering how to help their employees adapt to this emerging trend.
