It also examines the efficacy of two widely used triage systems: the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) and the Manchester Triage System (MTS), offering insights into their performance and limitations. As healthcare systems worldwide grapple with resource constraints and workforce shortages, triage remains a crucial strategy for optimizing care delivery.
