Climate change is a significant topic that has to be presented concerning sustainable development and/or business resilience to achieve the general objectives of sustainability. This chapter aims at showing how organizations can build climate resilience, by integrating sustainable ideas, anchored in sustainable development goals (SDGs). Reducing emissions is the goal of avoidance while preparing to address the impacts is the goal of adaptation. These actions should be included with a judgment towards sustainability and it means investing in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and building structures resilience to climate change. In addition, strategies of justice have to be incorporated into business responses so that climate change response is just and fair. The chapter also scrutinizes how new solutions, for example, implementing the Metaverse for effective virtual collaboration and sustainable decision-making can lead to more profound sustainable resilience and development. There are many possibilities for businesses to take action on climate change and enhance its stability even when there are limitations within financial and technological provisions. Businesses shipping goods internationally have got to do much more to ensure they address the worse impacts of climate change and help bring fairness to the climate system. The prioritising of such efforts will help not only in supporting businesses to advance outcomes in climate change adaptation but also guarantee the role of businesses in helping to bring more justice to the climate system. This brings us to the end of the chapter which also points out that further assessment is needed in order to understand the effectiveness of such schemes and their compatibility with the goals for global sustainability.
