This paper presents a system utilizing ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tags integrated with sensors, designed to monitor and analyze the conditions of food during logistics operations and in stores. The RFID is powered so that it provides a prolonged operational duration sufficient to measure the shelf life of most packaged meat and vegetable products. The system’s capability to wirelessly transmit data via RFID, coupled with a cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform, facilitates straightforward data analysis and visualization. The deployment of this system will enable real-time and long duration monitoring of airtight packaged meat or vegetable products.

摘要
