Overuse Musculoskeletal Injuries in the Pediatric Patient
摘要
A child’s physical activity is the set of actions, both daily and recreational and formal sports. In recent times, the practice of sports competitively has increased in the pediatric population, which, despite its benefits, implies a risk of morbidity associated with specialization and intensive training. Knowing the pathology of overtraining, its risk factors and clinical characteristics, contributes to an early diagnosis and early treatment of these injuries, avoiding important sequelae. In addition, it allows the implementation of preventive practices to avoid future injuries.
