Ankle physeal injuries are the second most common in the child population, commonly injuries due to direct or indirect mechanisms, associated with sports practice and the misuse of trampolines. In adolescents, we can find injuries with similar characteristic to those in adults or the presence of syndesmal injuries, where clinical suspicion is of utmost importance. Most injuries are managed conservatively, leaving surgical treatment for specific situations. If these injuries are managed appropriately, medium- and long-term complications are avoided (arthrosis and dislocations), with acute complications being very rare.
