An issue that is growing more prevalent as the world moves away from fossil fuels and toward cleaner alternatives is the unpredictability of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar. This chapter investigates how artificial intelligence is leading to the stabilization of grids, the reduction of prices, and the achievement of remarkable efficiency regarding renewable energy, which is notorious for its inefficiency and fluctuations. Further, this chapter also helps to gain an understanding of how artificial intelligence and renewable energy are transforming the energy business and contributing to a more sustainable future via the use of resource appraisal and real-world case studies. Although renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power are becoming increasingly important on a worldwide scale, there are obstacles to overcome because of their intermittent nature. Better energy efficiency, more stable grids, optimized costs, and a greener energy future are all outcomes of incorporating Artificial intelligence (AI). DeepMind and Wind Energy are two real-world examples of how artificial intelligence has improved performance and led to large gains in energy production. In the future, we may expect more sophisticated AI models, better optimization of decentralized energy systems, and more international cooperation to find creative solutions and integration with new technologies like blockchain and the Internet of Things.
