Considering our existing cities today, giving a glance into our future cities, and asking ourselves where we will live, work, and spend our leisure time within cities, the statement will be in places that already exist in the same or a similar pattern today. Although new developments are taking place, it is predicted that by 2030 only eight to nine percent of our construction activity will be new developments. This indicates that the redevelopment of already existing buildings and city districts will play an outstanding role in the future.
