The European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN), its organizational structure, mission, strategic priorities, and policy agenda are described and illustrated. The focus lies on lobbying strategies and communicative structures, involving the European Meetings of People Experiencing Poverty as well as the direct participation of social workers and their addressees, in particular people experiencing poverty in Europe. The chapter gives a detailed description of interest representation and other forms of political action, how it has been successful or not, and whether it is possible to learn from experience (organizational learning, organizational memory to concentrate and transmit learning experience throughout the organization).
