Local Flaps in Hand Injuries

In this section local flaps used mainly for pulp defects are explained in detail. Each flap is introduced briefly from a historical standpoint. Similar flaps and modifications (if defined) are also provided within the introduction. Indications, advantages, and disadvantages of the flaps are highlighted. Afterwards, a step-by-step scheme of the surgical technique is given to the reader. Finally, a brief postoperative care section is provided.
