For a certain cyanide containing wastewater, acidification method was used for purification treatment. pH, aeration rate, reaction time, and reaction temperature conditions were tested successively to determine the optimal reaction conditions. The concentrations of Cu, Zn, and Fe heavy metal elements in the cyanide containing wastewater were reduced to below 14.22 mg/L, 1.12 mg/L, and 326.40 mg/L, respectively, achieving the expected purification goals.
