As with many fields, the field of cryptanalysis is encountering major advancements with the surge of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This review studies the important parts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), in particular Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), in developing the domain of cryptanalysis. This investigates the impact of these technologies on understanding the intricacy of cryptographic systems and the automation of decryption methods. The study shows the enhancement in the accuracy and efficacy of AI-driven cryptanalysis, exceeding traditional techniques. Furthermore, it underlines the growing emerging challenges and concerns relayed to ethics, mostly related to data privacy and the possible misuse of AI. We also look at potential future work for AI in the cryptanalysis field, concentrating on developing effective and advanced encryption algorithms that can prevent attacks driven by AI. The conclusion emphasizes the mixed effects of AI in cryptanalysis, displaying both advances in security and the growth of new risks.

摘要
