We have seen how cooperative economics achieves economic justice better than capitalism (Chaps. 2 and 3 ). We have also seen how economic justice (and by extension and sometimes direct connection, cooperative economics) is supported by major world religions (Chap. 4 ) and by the early Christian tradition (Chap. 5 ). This chapter demonstrates how Christian pro-capitalism, which opposes and competes with cooperative economics (and other alternatives), is troublesome and unpersuasive.
