Business Intelligence (BI) is widely employed by companies and organizations to deliver critical data in an organized and accurate manner, enabling data-driven decision-making. However, numerous legacy systems, characterized by complexity and challenges in maintenance and integration, pose a significant obstacle. Legacy systems often experience slowdowns and disruptions when executing BI queries on their databases. We present a conceptual system architecture for interoperability between BI and legacy systems. The architecture is intended to overcome existing limitations, provide seamless integration, and minimize adverse impacts on business operations.

摘要

Business Intelligence (BI) is widely employed by companies and organizations to deliver critical data in an organized and accurate manner, enabling data-driven decision-making. However, numerous legacy systems, characterized by complexity and challenges in maintenance and integration, pose a significant obstacle. Legacy systems often experience slowdowns and disruptions when executing BI queries on their databases. We present a conceptual system architecture for interoperability between BI and legacy systems. The architecture is intended to overcome existing limitations, provide seamless integration, and minimize adverse impacts on business operations.
