Technological advancements, particularly the emergence of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) tools, are transforming various sectors, including education. This chapter explores how educational institutions must adapt to these new technological models by integrating AI into teaching and learning processes. The research focuses on a project at Jaby School (Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid) during the 2023–2024 academic year, where 1st-year ESO students create narrative video games using platforms like Twine or Canva and GAI tools such as ChatGPT, Playgroung or Dall-E. The workshop promotes essential skills such as critical thinking, media literacy, and creative expression, addressing both practical and theoretical aspects of Artificial Media. The objective is to assess how interactive narratives (IN) combined with AI tools can support creative expression. These activities can increase students’ interest in computer science and develop practical and ethical skills in a future dominated by AI. The results, obtained through qualitative techniques, aim to demonstrate that teaching computer science at basic levels can align with new creative and technological demands.
