On-Board Train Integrity (OTI) project provided requirements specifications for on-board train integrity detection and safe train length determination. On this basis, simulation activity and performance analysis provided guidelines for tuning three demonstrators before field testing. Identified solutions allow reducing the cost of the infrastructure and enables virtual and moving blocks for capacity increase. Finally, migration strategies and standardization proposal have been defined.

摘要

On-Board Train Integrity (OTI) project provided requirements specifications for on-board train integrity detection and safe train length determination. On this basis, simulation activity and performance analysis provided guidelines for tuning three demonstrators before field testing. Identified solutions allow reducing the cost of the infrastructure and enables virtual and moving blocks for capacity increase. Finally, migration strategies and standardization proposal have been defined.
