The overall goal of the presented approach is the identification and reduction of risks introduced by connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) functions and a process for their evaluation and validation, especially considering critical interactions with other road users. The combination of different tools is emphasized in order to obtain a comprehensive view on the CCAM functionality. Appropriate toolchains for different types of simulations are presented. Furthermore, a real-world test bed is utilized to observe real world behaviour of road users and to evaluate CCAM functions under real conditions. Some results regarding a practical application examples are presented.

摘要

The overall goal of the presented approach is the identification and reduction of risks introduced by connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) functions and a process for their evaluation and validation, especially considering critical interactions with other road users. The combination of different tools is emphasized in order to obtain a comprehensive view on the CCAM functionality. Appropriate toolchains for different types of simulations are presented. Furthermore, a real-world test bed is utilized to observe real world behaviour of road users and to evaluate CCAM functions under real conditions. Some results regarding a practical application examples are presented.
