The climate changes have severe social, economic, and ecological impacts. The Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) aims for climate action by focusing on climate resilience; climate education and awareness; climate adaptation; climate funding and technology support; and climate planning and capacity enhancement. This paper aims to consolidate the literature on climate change and SDG 13, by focusing on challenges, and solutions for attaining targets of SDG 13. A systematic literature review of document publications from the resources of the Web of Science is conducted by using PRISMA guidelines. Targets of SDG 13 are used for thematic analysis. This review includes a discussion about promising themes for further research on climate change and SDG 13.
