This research examines the efficiency of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool that can contribute to Oman’s economic growth and influence different industries. As AI technologies continue to change the global economies, this study seeks to determine AI’s existence, acceptance and implementation in the Omani market. A survey was conducted with 145 professional users who are involved in their professional lives and are leaders and shareholders of businesses from the financial, healthcare, educational, and oil and gas sectors. The research evidence shows that though AI is gradually getting acclaim for helping organizations to foster efficiency and creativity, its implementation is still facing certain constraints in Oman as data quality issues, lack of Al professionals, and regulation. This research work aids in the understanding of the impact of AI on the Oman economy and a guide to businesses and policymakers on the venue and opportunities to adopt AI for improved economic development. It also underlines the demand for raising education and training levels in AI-associated disciplines and creating permissive conditions for applying AI in the country regarding ethical standards.
